The Bucklin China Archive is a collection of 1000 extraordinary photographs from Pre-Revolutionary China. Using a Graflex camera, Harold Bucklin created an exquisite body of work in 1923-24 during his year-long stay in Shanghai and elsewhere in China, photographing portraits, street scenes, rickshaws, funeral processions and many other aspects of daily life in China before the Cultural Revolution.
