Established in 2005, Baby Room began offering childcare solutions with four day nurseries. Now, to help busy families find exactly the right childcare for their household, we also offer an agency service, placing experienced, qualified and background-checked nannies, housekeepers and other staff.

We offer a professional service to help you find suitable childcare staff based on your unique requirements. All of our candidates are thoroughly checked and personally interviewed before we introduce them to you, and an enhanced DBS/CRB check is included in our fees.

Candidates
For candidates, we offer a range of support in finding the right placement for you. We only register vacancies with appropriate pay, duties and hours, and we will always consult you before sending your details to any of our clients. Your conversations with us are confidential, so you can have complete confidence in your placement.
We begin with an informal interview to establish your skills and the type of work that you're looking for, and verify your references before registration is complete. We can offer help with writing your CV, information and advice on a range of employment topics, and a free DBS check for all candidates placed in permanent positions with our clients.

To register you will need:
- A minimum of 3 years’ full time and relevant experience within private households or a childcare qualification
- The experience must be recent and preferably within the UK, confirmed by checkable references
- Valid work permit if applicable
Candidates with a minimum of 1 year's experience can be supported to undertake positions such as a mother's help.
