Asociación de Padres de Niños con Cáncer de Bizkaia nace en el año 1989, por iniciativa de un grupo de padres cuyos hijos estaban enfermos de cáncer, ante la necesidad de cubrir dos áreas importantes: el área sanitaria y el asistencial, que presentaban notables carencias para que el desarrollo integral del niño se realizase de la forma más conveniente.
