Allegheny Mountain Rescue Group (AMRG) is an all-volunteer search and rescue team based in Pittsburgh that locates, accesses, stabilizes, and transports missing, lost, and injured persons in wilderness and suburban settings. Founded in 1985, AMRG serves government agencies across Allegheny County and southwestern Pennsylvania at no charge, and is the only team in Pennsylvania accredited by the Mountain Rescue Association.
