Starting with a single store in Kitchener in July of 1950, Emory Zehr, together with his sons Lester and Clifford, began the tradition of superior customer service, value and quality that have become trademarks of Zehrs Markets. Over the decades, Zehrs has grown to be 50+ stores strong and continues to grow. This success is attributed to our dedicated employees and superior products that make Zehrs Markets synonymous with excellence. Zehrs now spans all of Southern Ontario and our stores can be found west to Windsor, east to Uxbridge, north to Owen Sound and south to Welland.
Zehrs Markets has been moving towards a one-stop-shopping experience for its customers. Carrying on our tradition of quality service, we have introduced "convenience" departments in our newest stores including Food To Go, Beanroast Café, Community Rooms and walk in coolers in our floral departments.
Our remarkable commitment to service isn't restricted to our customers. Zehrs Markets recognizes that both customers and employees alike have helped shape our past as well as our bright future. With that recognition, we place a strong emphasis on our relationship with all our stores' employees.
