- The Youth Ballet Company of Saskatchewan is a non-profit organization which was officially established in 1983 by Vera and Gennadij Adrianow. The dedication and artistic talent of the founders set high standards which soon brought acclaim and recognition to the Company. Particularly noteworthy are, first, its selection by the EXPO ’86 Entertainment Commission to perform several times at the Plaza des Nations and for the opening ceremonies of Saskatchewan Day during EXPO ’86 in Vancouver, and, second, its performances at EXPO ’88 in Brisbane. The successes have continued for over 2 decades.
