About the Project
York Shakespeare Project plans to perform all Shakespeare's plays in the city over the next 20 years and provide a long-term cultural, educational and community resource.
Up to now we have performed Richard III, The Taming of the Shrew, Comedy of Errors, Titus Andronicus, Love's Labour's Lost, an open-air Romeo and Juliet and The Two Gentlemen of Verona as well as provide education and outreach workshops. Our next show is A Midsummer Night's Dream, back in Rowntree Park from July 19 to 30 2006
