YORK -- It was a shocking sight Tuesday night, around 5 p.m., as thick, black smoke billowed from the roof of York's new middle school. Hundreds of people stood in their yards, watching helplessly, as the multi-million dollar construction site began to burn.
Tourism ideas for York County - What GREAT ideas the tourism experts came up with for drawing people into York & York County. LOVED the idea of a 20's theme weekend at Recharge Lake. Would be fun to dress up in period clothing from the era. I would suggest it being around the 4th of July & have fireworks too. Also think it would be a good idea to move the museum out to Wessels, even if there were a little barn or something similar to house the items. What a bargain, 2 museums in one location.
