Inner City Yoga
Inner City Yoga has offered Hatha Yoga with Meditation classes, teacher training, and a variety of seasonal workshops in metropolitan Denver for many years. In fall of 2002 Roseanna moved to L.A. where she continued her yoga work alongside a path of creative writing study. Life’s changing ways pulled Roseanna back to Denver in August of 2005. She continues to offer private sessions, occasional workshops, continuing education for yoga teachers, and basic teacher training. You may continue to visit this site (click on >>news) for updates.

Inner City Yoga embraces the concept of practicing yoga to its fullest within the range of one’s immediate environment. It means being able to hear the sounds of oneself while hearing birds in the park or fire engine sirens racing down a city street. Inner City Yoga means not having to journey to a pristine place or an ashram, to a pyramid or a temple, in order to know oneself and one’s current world through an ancient discipline. This is yoga no matter what: yoga in the blistering heat, yoga in the icy cold, yoga that is so natural and true from within that it can be experienced no matter what is happening without. Inner City Yoga is about finding the vibrant spirit of the mountain, the endurance and wisdom of the tree, the ultimate flexibility and accurate awareness of the cobra, the soft strength of a butterfly, while noticing the abundant tension, chaos, stimulation and overwhelming other stuff that comes out of sharing one’s home place with a few million other people.
