Located in Perth, Western Australia, the company sits proudly in the heart of the Noongar nation, in fact, the name Yirra Yaakin means ‘Stand Tall’ in Noongar language. Established in 1993, Yirra Yaakin started off running workshops for Aboriginal youth on a shoestring budget.
