is dedicated to carrying on its namesake's legacy through translating and publishing the works of Jewish writers, scholars and poets the world over and circulating them at reduced costs to Jewish cultural institutions, schools and organizations. In order to accentuate the beauty of these writings, the center produces artwork reflective of the struggle of the Jewish people and their triumph over adversity.
The original artwork is displayed prominently at Jewish centers and galleries. And the Center’s newly published books can be found at the Dora Teitelboim Memorial Library at Temple Beth Or in Miami. The library also contains important Yiddish works by the great masters as well as other important authors.
Dora Teitelboim, one of the most dramatic Yiddish poets in this century, was committed to advancing Yiddish culture through her published writings and international lectures.
