A Little about me.
I have sold yarn since 1971, 27 years as the Yarn Barn in Delaware, Ohio and 7 years as the Yarn Barn in Andersonville, Virginia. We started the yarnbarn web site as the result of the move to Virginia.
We purchased the commercial building and the house next door. They both were built in the late 1700's, added to in the late 1800's, and modernized at various times over the last 200 years. The last 7 years we have been taking both buildings back closer to the original structures and remodeling to meet our style of living. We have planted a small orchard, a large garden, added many flower beds, and are now beginning to enjoy the "fruits" of all the labor!
The move to a more rural location has allowed me more time to devote to writing a line of patterns for larger women called Amplitudes and more general patterns call Multitudes.
