David Hendry has sold steam and motor yachts up to 260 foot long, sailing barges, race boats, cruising yachts, and historic yachts - to clients from New Mexico to New Hampshire, and from Holland to Hawaii.
In the last couple of years, David has worked on the sale of helicopter-capable motor yachts, and serious go-to-sea trawlers for the growing semi-commercial market. As well as selling the famous yawl Bolero for the second time and the more modern voyaging Deerfoot 62'.
David has lived in Fort Lauderdale for 20 years. During this time he has raced to Jamaica, sailed in the S.O.R.C. and the Antigua and Abaco Race Weeks, and added sculling and sport fishing to his boat repertoire. He gained his early boating experience racing sailing dinghies in the Solent area, followed by several years of offshore racing in the English Channel. These races were organized by the Royal Ocean Racing Club, which he was invited to join in 1961. Recently, he joined the Storm Trysail Club.
