Excel Systems & Solutions has been a low voltage contractor since 1994. In 2004, Doug Garland, an employee since 1995, and his wife Deeanna, became partners in the company. In 2007, they became the majority owners, and Bill Villegas, another employee, became a partner. Excel Systems & Solutions' founders believed that a small, tightly focused company could better respond to the unique challenges of highly specialized government & military access control systems.
