Rick and Alicia White have been photographing the Wylie, TX Fire Department since 1998 and the Wylie, TX Police Department since 1999. It began when Alicia took a photojournalism class at TWU and was required to find a long term subject. The fire department seemed like an interesting and unique choice. Rick used a handheld radio and would notify Alicia, and both would take off to an incident.
