The founders—Bill Butler, Dale Kietzman, and Rudy Renfer—crafted a ministry, which would provide opportunities for volunteers to use their gifts and abilities in hands-on projects, meeting the real needs of translators on the mission field. It was also the founders dream to increase Christians' awareness of opportunities for their personal involvement in Bible translation right from their own hometowns.
