Description
Wycliffe UK is part of an international family of organisations with over 6500 members from over 60 countries. Work is in progress in nearly 1300 languages. Wycliffe workers are involved in 80% of the translation projects going on today.
Wycliffe workers have helped to complete 623 translations, making God's Word available to more than 77 million people. This has always been done hand in hand with local communities. But now more than ever we are able to pass on our skills through partnership with churches and agencies worldwide. Key skills include linguistic work, translation, literacy, Scripture Use, computing, teaching, administration, finance and language survey.
Our role in the UK is to enable British churches to support the church worldwide in giving people access to the words of life.
