West Valley DogSports, Inc., located in the West San Fernando Valley of California, was founded by a group of dog lovers who had been looking for something fun to do with their dogs and found dog agility! The original members of West Valley DogSports, Inc. (WVDS, Inc.) organized themselves and began holding local demonstrations, competitions and fun matches. Over the years, the club has grown and other dog sports such as flyball, obedience and frisbee competitions have been added to WVDS repertoire. In addition, members participate in community service events. The more than 75 members represent many diverse backgrounds but all share their love of dogs and dog sports.
