We set our goals to achieve the best customer satisfaction and performance. Our owner, Richard Wright Jr. has been involved with the sand industry throughout his youth. His abilities and expertise in gearbox building and repair come from a family owned buggy building business owned by his parents. Growing up and participating in the family business gained him first hand knowledge of causes and fixes in gearbox repair. With this knowledge Richard opened The Wright Gearbox to exclusively handle custom transmission building and repair for street to wild strip racing VW's. Richard's work has already gained him industry recognition and accountability. Richard's transmissions and gearboxes will be today's high performance industry standard in performance and reliability.
