- Eric Cubberly emerged as champion in the 160-pound weight class at the Super32 Challenge. In the final, he defeated Junior National Freestyle champion (and four-time AA in freestyle, Cadet and Juniors) Scott Winston (Jackson Memorial NJ) 5-4. Winston also has not lost a regular season scholastic match in his three years of high school to date. Also during the tournament, Cubberly pinned state runner-up Jack Roberts (Union Grove GA) and beat state runner-up (and NHSCA Juniors All-American) Keith Hynson (William Penn DE) 4-2. His other wins came by 15-0 technical fall, 7-1 decision, and 12-1 major decision.
