- We are an international organization of women religious with the title of Providence in our name. Our board membership is in Canada and the United States and our sisters minister in various parts of the world. To see all the congregations in our organization at a glance, with photos and significant qualities, check out our latest advertisement: Women of Providence Care. Many of us also have lay associates in our communities. Though we have different roots and founders, we share the charism of Providence. One of the purposes of coming together in this collaborative model is to continue to explore our evolving theology of providence and spirituality in our contemporary world. We do this in a variety of ways.
