On Sunday June 14, 2009 the WPMC executive committee heard a proposal from Bob and Ginny Sleigh to start a branch of the Western Pennsylvania Mushroom Club in Indiana County. They related there was considerable interest there in mushrooming and many excellent sites for foraging but it was difficult for people to travel into Pittsburgh.
