Brad grew up in Lake Oswego and graduated from Lakeridge High School in 1975. He started a business in 1986 and sold it in 1995. Subsequently, he finished his Bachelor's degree in Interpersonal and Group Communications. In 1999, he received his Master of Divinity degree at Trinity Evangelical Divinity School and completed his internship at Willow Creek Community Church in the Chicago area. He has an awesome wife, Ann, and three great kids: a daughter, Sarah, and two sons, Willie and Nathan.
