Description
The Western New York Land Conservancy is a voluntary land-conservation organization formed in 1991 to work with families, communities and farmers to safeguard Western New York's natural and cultural heritage. Western New York Land Conservancy works in cooperation with public and private landowners in eight western New York counties: Allegany, Cattaraugus, Chautauqua, Erie, Genesee, Niagara, Orleans and Wyoming.
The Western New York Land Conservancy is recognized by the IRS as a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit organization. All contributions are tax-deductible to the fullest extent of the law. A copy of Western New York Land Conservancy's not-for-profit status is available by contacting the Western New York Land Conservancy office.
