The World Nuclear Transport Institute ( WNTI ) was established in 1998 to promote sound and objective principles for ensuring radioactive materials are transported safely, efficiently and reliably within a secure international framework. WNTI is the only body dedicated to presenting the industry point of view on radioactive materials transport from an international perspective.
Our vision is for the transport of radioactive materials to be regarded as safe and as a model for the transport of all classes of hazardous materials.
WNTI seeks to encourage a prevailing climate of opinion in which the bases for sound transport are well understood, inspire trust and are accepted.
