Spells Wicca Book Of Shadows
Description
Welcome to my world of enchantment,where I enjoy painting lovely goddesses, fairies,flowers and herbs that I find in my garden. I always had an interest in Spirit and heard and saw many people from spirit over the years and often would read the Tarot cards for friends. It wasnt until I had reached a turning point in my life that I ended up at my local Spiritualist Church. That is where my journey really began, I was totally amazed in the warm feeling of spirit and passing the messages onto loved ones, this continued and I took awareness classes, colour therapy, healing and read loads of books on the subject. My senses increased but I never really knew where I was going. With a business and newborn daughter it was hard to make a leap to merely pyschic work to support my family. I completed my Reiki 1 and 2 whilst pregnant and received my Master attunement after she was born. This made me take stock, the rest is history and hopefully the Spirit world will take me on my long awaited journey to help people worldwide and pass on the messages that they so badly need to move on. I can use a number of ways to Divine but these are merely tools as I rely more on my guides for guidance. I would have to call myself a Taoist Electic Witch with a facination for Angels, Fairies and other earth based forms of healing, that only sums up a small part of my many new age interests.
I began painting at a very young age, and over the years I've experimented with fantasy, surreal and abstract themes in my paintings, as well as occasional portraiture. Right now what I enjoy the most is whimsical fantasy art, especially on fantasy themes. I'm inspired by vintage and victorian children's books, and most of my current paintings feature witches or fairies in a wide variety of settings, from dark gothic forests to castles to garden dream worlds and psychedelic fantasy lands. I prefer to style my work after greatly respected children's illustrators such a Tasha Tudor, Cicely Mary Barker, Kate Greenaway and others. I graduated with a degree in Fashion Design from Sheridan College in Toronto and continued to study watercolour art and drawing through private lessons from a local professional artist.
I have currently been busy creating various "Spell Page" sets...they started out as my personal Book Of Shadows and have grown to quite a collection. I have all of my Spell Pages and Handcrafted Books listed on my website for sale as well as on ebay for auction. Please stay tuned for more to come.
