Boracay Island is in Panay, part of the Municipality of Malay. The island is divided into 3 major Barangays; Manok-Manok, Balabag, and Yapak and has 3 boat stations which have become the general guide of tourists to classify accommodations in the island. Station 3, the first boat station from Caticlan, is the crowded area due to a number of accommodations to choose from and with the convenience of having a wide selection of affordable restaurants and bars to choose from; small grocery and shopping stores, banks, and other interesting things to do. Station 2 is where all the action is. The one-stop destination called D-mall and most of the big resorts/hotels suggest interest. And Station 1, a peaceful and a more private area is where luxurious yet affordable resorts are located.
