We are solicitors carrying on a law practice. We are members of the Law Society of Ireland by whom we are regulated and are duly bonded in accordance with law to carry on our business.
The original firm was founded over 100 years ago and since then it is has passed through generations of solicitors from grandfather, father to the present generation. This legal dynasty has achieved a unique place in the annals of legal history with each generation obtaining outstanding academic achievements.
Our firm is headed up by BRIAN A. CARROLL. He is a solicitor, a Professor of Law, (part-time) at University College Cork, an Associate of the Institute of Taxation in Ireland and a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators. He is also co-author with Michael O'Reilly of "CARROLLS TAX PLANNING IN IRELAND" (Sweet & Maxwell). He has wide experience both as a practitioner and an academic, which is brought to bear, particularly, in this new development which offers on-line as well as web-assisted legal services.
