Additional Information
[Williamson Software]http://www.williamsonsoftware.com was founded in 1990 by Mark Williamson in Buellton California and provides forms and billing software to the California vocational rehabilitation industry. Their first product was an electronic forms software program called R-PLAN. R-PLAN was written in DOS and gave PC users the ability to electronically fill-out the California Vocational Rehabilitation form RB-102. The software was noted for giving early PC users the ability to fill-out their forms on screen and then print out the completed form with their inputted text. In 1992 the name of this software was changed to C-FORM. In 1998 the name was again changed to C-FORM Win. In 1992 the California Vocational Rehabilitation Unit, based in Sacramento, issued the first forms approval code to Williamson Software, authorizing their computer generated forms to be of sufficient quality to replace the state printed forms.
In 1993 Williamson Software introduced their second product, THE BILLING PROGRAM. This software is an invoicing program specifically designed for Vocational Rehabilitation. THE BILLING PROGRAM quickly consolidates monthly client billing activities and prints an invoice with specific totals for voc. rehab.
By the mid-1990s the State of California was able to greatly reduce the printing of their paper forms and began referring vocational rehabilitation businesses directly to Williamson Software.
In the fall of 1996 the company expanded its product line by embarking upon the creation of a front-office medical billing and scheduling software program. This software, named Med-Link Pro, reached maturity and strong standing in the medical industry by the year 2000. Today, after nearly two decades, Williamson Software continues to provide support and updates to their three software products.
