Williamsburg Place is one of the top recovery centers in the nation, aiding those who suffer from drug and/or alcohol addiction. For over twenty years we have helped thousands of people from all walks of life take back their lives and overcome substance abuse.

Located in beautiful Williamsburg, Virginia, our facilities are situated just beyond the busy tourist areas, nestled among the quiet pines near Waller Mill Park. We offer patients thorough and effective treatment designed to aid their specific recovery needs. We are committed to the privacy and well-being of all our residents, and offer care and support beyond the twelve steps implemented in our programs.

The William J. Farley Center is an extended residential treatment program with specific expertise in treating professionals in the healthcare industry: physicians, nurses, and other practitioners. The treatment team is uniquely qualified to deal with profession specific issues such as licensure and board and practice related problems. We also have developed working relationships with numerous professional peer support programs around the country with the ability to provide advocacy and support for our patients upon completion of the treatment experience.

Services

We at Williamsburg Place and the William J. Farley Center understand that just as no two addicted people are alike, so no one treatment will cure all. While the majority of our residents come from the medical and professional fields, we treat people from all walks of life, people who fell into the darkness of addiction in different ways. While all our patients have the same goal - to recover - they are able to achieve it through various types of care. The very best treatment (which used to be referred to as "rehab" or "rehabilitation") always takes this into account.

We invite you to explore the many facets of our individualized treatment approach.

  • Individualized Care - Treatment plans are individualized, and multidisciplinary approaches are tailored to each resident's individual needs.
  • One on One Care - Private, confidential, individual therapy forms an important part of treatment
  • Group Care - Strength and support among peers emphasizes that recovery works when supported by peers
  • Drug Treatment - Sometimes referred to as "rehab" or "rehabilitation"; treatment for addiction works.
  • Twelve Step Programs - Twelve-step recovery from alcohol and drug use disorders
  • Accelerated Detoxification - When time is a factor in recovery
  • Intervention Services - For those needing assistance in confronting loved ones about their substance use disorder
