- Wildside Books is owned and run by Chris and Christine Johnson who started as St Ann's Books in 1982. They quickly became established as one of Europe's leading specialists in antiquarian and out-of-print natural history books and rare bird books, with a particular expertise in ornithology. They gained a reputation for the quality of their books, bibliographic knowledge and high standards of service. Wildside Gallery, specializing in natural history art, was opened in October 2000 and to bring unity, St Ann's Books became Wildside Books.
