On January 6, 1955 Lloyd and Kathryn Smith conveyed 11.2 acres of land to the Whitestown Lions Club. This piece of property came to be known as:"The Whitestown Lions Club Park".The park is made up of 3 youth league ball diamonds and 1 adult softball diamond. The park also has an enclosed shelter/meeting hall, a restroom building, a concession stand, a small storage shed, an open shelter house, a sand volleyball area, a basketball court, and a horseshoe area.
