The Five Synagogues Israel Action Committee is drawn from members of the five synagogues of White Plains: Bet Am Shalom Synagogue (Reconstructionist), Hebrew Institute of White Plains (Modern Orthodox), Congregation Kol Ami (Reform), Temple Israel Center (Conservative) and Young Israel of White Plains (Orthodox). We are Jews united in our love for Israel and for the Jewish people.
The mission of the Committee is to provide support to the State of Israel, the people of Israel and to Jerusalem, its capital.
by providing material support to Israeli citizens, for example by giving tsedakah, by increasing the purchase of Israeli goods and encouraging trips to Israel.
