A native of Newfoundland, Canada, Heidi started her broadcasting career in 1986 for the Q Radio Network in St. John’s, NL, where she worked for CHUM and NewCap Broadcasting. She moved to Kentucky in 1997 and worked with the Kentucky News Network and WHAS, Louisville properties of Clear Channel Communications. Heidi joined Public Radio Partnership in 2000 to produce State of Affairs, WFPL's award-winning flagship show. She has the American equivalent of a Bachelor’s Degree in Journalism with a concentration in Criminology.
Brian began his broadcast career in public radio at the University of Kentucky. Since then he has served as an on-air talent and voice-over announcer; has directed hundreds of play-by-play sports broadcasts and talk shows; and has programmed stations in Louisville and Danville, Kentucky. In addition to his role at WFPL, Brian serves as Director of Broadcast Operations for Public Radio Partnership, and as a narrator of “talking books” at the American Printing House for the Blind.
