Description
The mayor of Weymouth and Portland, Councilor Les Ames, presented two Henri Lloyd jackets to Mike Jury on Thursday 11th May. The jackets had been given by Henri Lloyd to be raffled for the mayor's charity appeal. Mike was the lucky winner and the mayor was good enough to come to the club to present them personally.
It looks like the president has seen a ghost! but it's OK, it wasn't Phil Lethby checking what was on the menu, it was only Don Conn taking the photo.
The boats are now on their moorings and the 2006 lift-in has completed sucessfully. Many thanks to the teams who spent many hours pushing and pulling boats around the yard, dismantled cradles and manning the cranes.
