Description
The West Morris Soccer Club is a non-profit organization, incorporated under the laws of the State of New Jersey in 1976 as the Mendham Soccer Club. Our name was changed in 1999 to its present form upon the merger with the Chester Soccer Club, an unincorporated entity then operating under the auspices of the Chester Police Athletic Association.
WMSC falls under Section 501(c)3 of the Internal Revenue Code. Therefore, the non-refundable donation a parent makes to the Club, in lieu of choosing to volunteer his time, might be tax-deductible as a charitable contribution. The registration fee might not be deductible because it is in exchange for goods and services. Our tax ID # is 22-2503872 for those who are taking the cost of Summer Camp as deductible expense. The Club does not provide tax advice and you should seek out the advice of an accountant.
