Our Mission: Westlers will continue to grow to provide a secure future for its employees by being the first choice for high quality, value for money, specialist food products.
Westlers established in Hull by brothers-in-law Alick Burdon-Cooper and Charles Breese, together with old family friend Donald Watson. At that time they purchased the canned frankfurter business of Hull-based Ostlers and initially operated from premises in Wheeler Street in Hull, manufacturing canned frankfurters in brine.
Westlers moves to its current location Amotherby, Malton, North Yorkshire – still only producing Frankfurters and using three van salesmen for distribution throughout Yorkshire.
