- Sarah was born in Austin and raised by 2 parents who could probably be best described as “hippies.” Although she was born here, and has always considered Austin home, she spent most of her school years in the hill country and attended Dripping Springs and Marble Falls schools. Because she was raised in the country, she feels like she developed a deep appreciation for nature and preservation of our natural resources. This appreciation has carried over to present day and is reflected in what she does with her free time. It is important to her to take the time to get outside and just “be” whether through swimming in Barton Springs, hiking the greenbelt or camping in many of the beautiful camping areas around Austin.
