One of Somerset’s friendliest clubs, a warm welcome is always extended to our members and visitors including societies and corporate visitors. The Isle of Wedmore Golf Club was founded in 1992 and is located just 15 minutes from Junction 22 of the M5. Many people ask why the club is known as the ‘Isle of Wedmore’ Golf Club. The answer dates back to Saxon times when Wedmore was completely surrounded by wet marshland and the Somerset Levels were flooded.
