Welcome to Waverly Road Presbyterian Church, a congregation of the Presbyterian Church (USA). We were begun in 1944 as an outpost chapel of First Presbyterian Church, Kingsport and were formally chartered in 1946. We began with 47 charter members and have grown to a congregation of approximately 300.
We enjoy a rich worship life that includes an outstanding music ministry, and education throughout a person's life. We have an active youth ministry that is involved in helping each other and our community. Our mission programs are of vital importance to us and range from providing food in our food pantry to international mission trips. We enjoy worship, fellowship and laughter at WRPC.
