Wavelink was founded in 2003 by the current directors David Brown and Justin Blaine, the function of Wavelink back then was primarily to distribute the range of Fixed Cellular Terminals / GSM Gateways to the UK telecoms market place, these products came from the Czech based manufacturer 2N Telecommunications, who were actively looking for a partner to fulfil the potential within the UK market place.
Wavelink was so successful in delivering 2N solutions that they were quickly awarded exclusivity on all 2N products and were also recognised by the Comms Channel Awards judges in 2005 when they won the award for the most innovative product and service introduced into the telecoms channel in 2004/2005 by a new start up company.
