- Even as a toddler, Carla Jarvis Johnson exhibited a love and appreciation for sports. Moving around the world with her Air Force family, she enjoyed a wide variety of athletics — some of which are not known in the United States. While she attended Lincoln High School in Argentina, she lettered in five sports and earned both “Best All Around Athlete” and “Best Sportsmanship” awards her Senior year. Carla attended the University of Montevallo in Alabama, and competed with the intercollegiate volleyball team and participated in various intramural activities.
