Welcome to the online portfolio of Wasp Creations. My name is Amy Crowder. I am a Corsetiere that tightlaces daily, and owner of Wasp Creations. As pretentious as it may sound, my primary goal of this site is to inform visitors that wearing a properly tailored corset is not painful, nor detrimental to ones' health. Corsets do not have to be strictly special occasion wear, but garments to be worn under daily clothing to enhance your figure.
On this site, you will find articles on how to properly tightlace, the pros and cons of tightlacing, honest, candid, information on how to achieve a more curvaceous figure, and the different types of torso shapes in contemporary corsetry. Also, you will find detailed information on each corset style that I offer. You can determine which corset style is best for your body, and construction details that makes my corsets extremely durable and comfortable. There are also printable order forms and easy to follow measurement guides for each corset style if you choose to order a corset.
I primarily see corsets as a wearable sculpture that is to be used daily to create beautiful curves and shape on the wearer. Thus, I primarily design corsets for daily tightlacing. I take pride in creating comfortable, yet beautiful corsets. Modern corsets that can be worn under modern clothing without being noticed (well, everyone will see your new curvaceous figure). I design a brand-new pattern for each client. Therefore, every garment that leaves the studio is unique and tailored to each client.
