Jim has a Master’s Degree in International Public Administration from American University in Washington, D.C. He was born in Washington and has lived there all his life -- so he understands the Washington perspective on things. Over the years he has worked on Capitol Hill, with various international policy research groups and for Congressional Quarterly, another well-placed publication in Washington. Before starting his own business, he was a senior editor at the Bureau of National Affairs’ International Trade Reporter.
Mary Berger joined WTD in 1998 after spending over 12 years at the Bureau of National Affairs, where she was senior Congressional reporter and then editor of its daily tax newsletter. Experience in covering Capitol Hill have given Mary an insider’s perspective of both the legislative and lobbying process. She is a graduate of Goucher College and a native of Baltimore. She also worked for National Geographic magazine in Washington.
Also an alumni of the Bureau of National Affairs, WTD's Geneva editor is another experienced economic reporter of more than a decade. D Ravi Kanth has worked for the prestigious Economic Times of India and the Asia Times. Ravi also contributed to the Geneva-based World Trade Agenda magazine.
