Description
Regular Services
The regular Sunday worship service begins at 11:00 a.m. The first part of the service is for families, and an address suited to the children is given during this time. Children sit with their parents. After the children's talk and a benediction, parents take their children to the nursery or the Sunday School. A sermon is given for the adults during the latter half of the service. In order to maintain a reverent sphere of worship for the service, silence is observed in the sanctuary.
Informal Family Service
This service begins at 9:30 a.m. and is held once a month in the all-purpose room. Dress is less formal, if you wish, and the format of the service includes interaction between minister and the children.
Holiday Services
Thanksgiving Family Service - the congregation is invited to bring an offering of fruit as a token of thanks. After the opening of the Word, during the second hymn, the people come forward by the center aisle to present fruit to the minister and then return to the pew by the side aisles. One address is given for all; there is no Sunday School and no one on duty in the nursery, although the room is available.
