- Randy Johnson is an award-winning old-time fiddler and dynamic singer who honed his fiddle skills playing for dances in Ohio and Western Pennsylvania, touring as the fiddler for Pittsburgh's Coal Country Cloggers. Randy, who also plays guitar, banjo, and mandolin, has performed at such venues as the Philadelphia Folk Festival, Black Mountain's LEAF festival, and has been an Artist-in-Residence for the Ohio Arts Council. Currently a member of Waking Up Tillie and the Carolina Jug Stompers (with Ron Cole, W.B. Reid, and Luke Faust), Randy's previous bands include the Chestnut Hillbillies and the Blue Ridge Mountain Minstrels, with recordings on the Yodel-Ay-Hee, Rounder, and Lutra labels.
