W3MH is World Wide Web Model Helicopter. This website has been online since October 1995 and in the early days we also produced a monthly model helicopter magazine. That ceased production in March 1997 due to a lack of subscriptions and support from the luddite industry, but the last three issues can be downloaded complete from our articles page. You can find more about why we had to cease production in the last issue's editorial. There's also plenty of single articles for download with tons of information about model helicopters.
There's a lot of archive material online, and although W3MH is not updated regularly (well, hardly at all) it still seems to be a good source for experts and beginners alike. We're quite happy to leave W3MH online for the model helicopter community.
Articles on W3MH are usually available for download in PDF, that's Portable Document Format, Adobe's multi platform presentation medium. You'll need the Acrobat reader, but that's a one time download and there's plenty more information available in PDF around. We use PDF because it is very versatile and produces consistent results across a variety of machine types. It's also easy to print and we format pages to fit both US and A4 paper size.
