The Southeastern Connecticut Guide is not a book of advertising. It is not a magazine of random articles about subjects some might be interested in. It is not an esoteric gathering of information to catch your eye - it is a Guide. I have driven, shopped, hiked, eaten, wandered and dreamed in each of the towns represented in this Guide. I have met restaurateurs, hotel staff, innkeepers, merchants, business people, leaders, clergy, and moms and dads, brothers and sisters, children and pets. I continue to get to know each town and village better.
I appreciate that I live in the State of Connecticut and border on the state of Rhode Island. All the towns may have there own perspective but ALL agree we in Southeastern Connecticut and Southern R. I. are special, unique and wonderful.
