About VisitkAos.co.uk

Kirkcaldy Amateur Operatic Society (known locally as KAOS) was founded in 1907 and staged their first production 'Pirates of Penzance' in the Opera House, now the old ABC cinema, on the High Street, Kirkcaldy. The Society moved to its present home in the Adam Smith Halls in 1936. The building was refurbished in 1973 and is now known as the Adam Smith Theatre. The Society's aim of "Cultivating Music and Drama" is as true today as it was when the Society was founded.
