The National Park totals over 3.3 million acres and is open year round. The park's Visitor Center (upstairs at Glacier Bay Lodge) and most services are open from roughly mid-May to mid-September. This is a remote, unspoiled area with few roads. Visitors must arrive by boat or plane. (Nearby Gustavus, 9 miles from the Lodge, is a short flight from Juneau.) See �Getting Here� for details.
